This session analyzes regulatory expectations for data protection training, including those associated with the GDPR and the New York State Department of Financial Services’ new cybersecurity regulation. It discusses how organizations are addressing these challenges and suggests strategies to modernize traditional training approaches, increasing employee engagement and effectiveness. It also explores opportunities to enhance employee perception of the importance of training by changing the organization’s training philosophy and communications, including those with the C-Suite.
