As we increasingly develop/deploy connected devices, maintaining device security and protecting people’s privacy are important to the adoption of these technologies, and our ability to reap their full benefits. Developing networked systems of connected devices leads to new risks. However, there is minimal guidance on how to bring IT-focused risk management processes into IoT. This session will take participants through a use case to identify and manage security and privacy risks in an IoT-focused scenario.
