State attorneys general have been nimble privacy enforcement pioneers, helping set privacy policy and expand the frontiers of privacy law. The session will explore the areas in which attorneys general have made privacy and data security policy and areas of increasing enforcement interest to career staff.  Where have state AGs had the greatest impact in privacy policymaking?  What should organizations understand about state AG enforcement?  What are the best ways for organizations to deal with state AGs?
